Using StuffIt, StuffIt Expander, or an equivalent un-archiver, extract the archived files on to your hard disk. Next, double-click on one of the Painter 4.0 Demo files (English, Japanese, French, or German) to start the Installer application to install the demo. |

| Comments | Fractal Design Painter is a professional-quality
image authoring application. Painter is particularly known for its realistic
simulations of painting and drawing instruments, and of canvas materials.
Paint "brush" controls include support for the brush's bristle size, spacing, angle, and spread. Using dozens of brush control features, you can design your own brush types, or use a variety of presets to simulate oil painting, water color, pencils, pens, and so on. Canvas material controls enable you to create surface textures based upon lighting features, material shine, and material grain. Presets provide surface textures for paper grain and brush stroke simulations. |
